Dr. Barker is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He has been in practice for over thirty years, working with children and adults and has developed a specialty practice in working with children, college students, and adults with ADD/ADHD.
Dr. Barker has had extensive training and experience working with ADD/ADHD and in providing training to families, teachers and other professionals.

Dr. Porter is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marital and Family Therapist who has practiced in Virginia for over thirty years. He operates a specialty practice in the areas of adult, child and adolescent ADHD.
Dr. Porter has developed diagnostic and treatment systems for ADHD based on years of professional clinical experience as an outpatient practitioner and staff psychologist at a major regional medical center, consulting to the Department of Pediatrics and Medicine. Dr. Porter has conducted pharmacological research in conjunction with The National Institute of Mental Health, Old Dominion University, Eastern Virginia Medical School and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (V.P.I. & S.U.).
