A licensed mental health professional/ADHD Specialist will be available to work with you in understanding your specific situation and needs and will provide you with a comprehensive set of options and a plan of action to suit your needs.

Cost and Accessing Services

On-site Services: Blacksburg & Roanoke, Virginia

Individuals seeking psychological evaluations and/or counseling services can contact our office. The cost for on-site services will vary depending on the procedures and time needed on a case-by-case basis.

Out of Area – Offsite Services

Individuals residing outside of our immediate service area can still access services offsite. We can work with you by mailing our evaluation package to you and handling the clinical interview over the telephone. The Off-site ADHD assessment includes the following:

• Telephone interview
• Evaluation/assessment battery
• Cost estimate
• Written report mailed
• Phone interview on results and recommendations

You may request an evaluation by calling our office or by e-mail. Upon receipt of the request we will contact you to set up the phone interview and will send the evaluation materials to you by mail. When you have completed the assessments and returned them to us, we will send you our report and arrange for a phone consultation to go over the results within 14 days.

Specialized Services for College Students

College students interested in obtaining on-site evaluations or counseling services are provided with a comprehensive process that involves the following:

• We utilize the necessary assessment procedures that meet the standards required by the student's college or university. Our evaluation reports are comprehensive and provide you and the university with all the necessary information needed to begin treatment and accommodations if needed.
• We work with the university's Disability Resource Office and Counseling Center to obtain appropriate accommodations to achieve success based on the student's individual needs.
• We work closely in consultation with either university or local physicians to obtain effective and appropriate medication when needed.
• Most importantly, we are able to follow the students in short-term counseling to achieve educational, emotional and behavioral stability and success when needed.
